Duckworth was found deceased inside his apartment in Grand Forks, North Dakota, after downstairs neighbors reported water coming through the ceiling. Police were called to the apartment at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
According to the Grand Forks Police Department, officers entered the apartment and determined that water coming through the ceiling was originating from the bathtub in Duckworth’s bathroom. His body was found in the same bathroom.
Police said it was unclear how long Duckworth had been deceased. He had reportedly been seen the previous day.

Authorities said there were no apparent signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances at the scene.
