Linda A. Hoffman, 76, of Lehigh Township, Weatherly, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 16, 2026, with her devoted husband of 58 years, Robert J. Hoffman, Sr., by her side.

Linda’s passing has left her family and loved ones mourning the loss of a woman remembered for her creativity, warmth and deep devotion to her family.

Linda A. Hoffman’s Life and Family

Linda was born on December 2, 1949, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Howard Davis and Margaret (Moran) Smith, and stepdaughter of the late Trevor Smith.

After graduating from James M. Coughlin High School, Linda worked at the Mountain Laurel Resort in White Haven.

Throughout her life, Linda found joy in creative pursuits and the simple things that brought meaning to everyday life.

Remembering Linda Hoffman

Linda was described as a vibrant and creative soul who expressed herself through numerous artistic interests.

She enjoyed painting, crocheting, adult coloring and writing poetry, allowing her creativity to become an important part of her life.

She also had a green thumb and took pleasure in caring for her plants. Her beloved cats provided her with the quiet companionship she cherished.

These interests reflected the personality of a woman who found beauty and happiness in creativity, nature and the peaceful moments of home life.

Linda Hoffman’s Surviving Family

Linda leaves behind her husband, Robert J. Hoffman, Sr., after 58 years of marriage.

She is also survived by her son, Robert J. Hoffman, Jr., and his wife, Lori, and her daughters, Lisa Miller, wife of Rev. Scott, and Emily Houser, wife of Jared.

Her surviving siblings include Mary Ann Hoffman, Margaret Espinoza and Beverly Uding, as well as her stepbrother, Trevor Smith Jr.

Linda also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, who will carry memories of their grandmother and the moments they shared together.
