Christopher Beau Harrison Obituary, Death - Moncks Corner Community Mourns 12-Year-Old

The Moncks Corner, South Carolina, community is mourning the passing of Christopher “Beau” Harrison, 12, who died Friday evening at a Charleston hospital.

Beau was born on December 4, 2013, and was the beloved son of Chris M. Harrison and Alison Worth Harrison. He was a seventh-grade student at Berkeley Middle School and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Beau was remembered as a respectful and loving young boy who enjoyed spending time outdoors. Hunting and fishing were among his favorite activities, with duck hunting and squirrel hunting holding a particularly special place in his heart.

He also enjoyed hunting squirrel with his dog, Dottie, and was a member of Hagen Hunting Club, Ducks Unlimited and the Delta Waterfowl Association.

Beyond hunting and fishing, Beau loved riding his side-by-side and four-wheeler, mudding and enjoying outdoor adventures. His family and friends will remember the happiness he found in these activities and the warmth he brought to the people around him.

Beau’s passing has left his family, classmates, friends and community facing an incredibly difficult loss.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Frances Harrison.

He is survived by his parents, Chris and Alison Harrison of Moncks Corner; his sister, Taylor M. Harrison; grandparents Wanda Taylor Ackerman and her husband, Vern, of Bonneau, and Ricky Worth of Macedonia; as well as extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

For those who knew Beau, his memory will remain connected to the activities he loved, the people he cared about and the many moments shared with family and friends.

Christopher Beau Harrison Funeral Arrangements

Funeral services for Beau Harrison will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, in the chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home in Moncks Corner.

Interment will follow at Berkeley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends during visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 W. Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461, to assist with funeral expenses.

Beau Harrison’s life was far too short, but the memories he created will remain with his family, friends, classmates and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
